Security Insurance May be a Smart policy for Some
Making your network hack-proof would be like constructing a fireproof building. Doing either would be beneficial but expensive and impractical.

In both cases, purchasing liability insurance would be an alternative. To paraphrase a security mantra: One shouldn't spend $10 protecting something worth $5. However, what about insuring it for 50 cents?

Panasonic Document Routing Software Expands Functionality, Enhances Network Scanning Option
Panasonic introduces Document Distribution System (DDS), which is engineered to automatically distribute scanner (TIFF format), PSTN fax or Internet fax data when it is received, to any or all of five pre-defined destinations. The software runs on a separate delivery server and is accessed by desktop users through a web-based utility.

The most serious of the three bulletins affects Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000, and because that software's part of both the Small Business Server 2000 and Small Business Server 2003 packages, those products as well.

Apache Server Configuration

I've just installed Apache (and mySQL and PHP) on my system so I can test PHP files locally. It works, but I have a problem. If I create a form with a submit button in it and test it locally, I get the message: You don't have permission to access /< on this server
