In move aimed at reducing the cost and time companies spend on IT, Viewfinity has released version 2.5 of its cloud computing systems and privilege management solutions for laptops, desktops and servers.

Viewfinity's cloud computing model offers companies a cost-effective approach to systems and privilege management. The Viewfinity solution is purposely architected to provide capabilities that focus on reducing the cost and time related to IT operations and support by providing the most flexible, secure and manageable environment for in-house and mobile workforces.

"Our cloud-computing software delivery model and extended privilege management features allow us to supplement or replace traditional systems management with no specialized IT experience required and no need to purchase and install a management platform and server," said Gil Rapaport, President of Viewfinity.

"Our approach lets IT administers focus immediately on delivering services end users need to be productive, rather than the typical six month setup and subsequent ongoing administering of legacy on-premise management systems."

Viewfinity Suites
*Systems Management: Centralized and silent software deployment, asset inventory, remote desktop, power management and unique IT support features, including activity recording and rollback/undo of user personality components. Free for up to 50 PCs.
*Privilege Management: Flexible blocking/whitelisting, privilege elevation, automated policy management and auditing, all through granular regulation of administrator rights

*User Migration: Centralized, domain-based, multi-user migration management capabilities for XP or Vista to Windows 7. Free thru Q1 2010.
